Pause. Breath. Find calm.
A calming reset for a busy mind
Relax with NADA is a nonverbal 45-minute ear acupuncture session created to help you slow down, settle your thoughts, and give your body and mind a moment of rest.
In everyday life, our minds can stay busy long after the day itself has slowed down. Stress, thoughts, responsibilities, difficulty switching off, and problems with sleep can make it hard to truly relax and recover. This session offers you a simple space to pause, settle, and reset.
Five small acupuncture needles are placed in specific points in each ear. After this, you can sit or lie comfortably, listen to calming background music, breathe naturally, and rest.
The simplicity of NADA is part of what makes the experience special. There is nothing you need to explain, achieve, or perform during the session.
No previous experience with acupuncture is needed.
NADA may be suitable for you if you would like a moment to slow down and support relaxation, especially during periods with:
I became interested in NADA partly because I know myself how difficult it can be to switch off when the mind keeps going. That is why I was curious about such a simple method where you do not need to talk or actively do anything — you can just sit, listen to calming music and let the body settle.
NADA is a supportive practice and does not replace medical assessment or treatment when this is needed.
As part of my NADA certification process, I will be giving NADA sessions to 30 people and collecting practical experience and feedback along the way.
During this certification period, the session price follows the guidelines from NADA Norge:
After the session, I will also ask for a short feedback about how you experienced it and, if relevant, how you slept that night.

If you are a blood donor, please be aware that acupuncture can affect when you are allowed to donate blood. Norwegian blood-donation rules may require a waiting period of up to six months depending on who performed the acupuncture and the equipment used. Please check with your blood bank if regular blood donation is important to you.
If you are unsure whether NADA is suitable for you, please contact me before booking.
NADA was originally developed in the 1970s at Lincoln Hospital in New York as a supportive method for people going through addiction treatment. Since then, the standardized five-point ear acupuncture protocol has become widely used internationally, including within addiction treatment, mental health services and other settings where stress, inner restlessness and emotional strain are present.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has also recognized acupuncture as one of the supportive methods that may be used during withdrawal treatment, for example to relieve symptoms such as restlessness and sleeplessness.
Today, NADA is also used more broadly as a simple, non-verbal way to support relaxation and help people slow down during periods of stress, racing thoughts, inner restlessness or difficulty sleeping.
